Using Size of Different Resolution
Ok, a higher resolution means more pixels on a screen, but why does this have to make everything smaller? I have an LCD and am stuck with 1280x1024, but I find everything on my screen a bit small. Is there any way to maintain the clarity of one resolution but use the size of another? Thanks.

A larger monitor would help address the problem.
You could also try enlarging text and icons with the accessability options in the control panel.
