Radeon 9600 XT
umm I have a question, I may just be a little paranoid but I ordered a radeon 9600 xt 256mb graphics card off ebay, I havent recieved it yet but I keep looking at the image of the picture he put on there to advertise his product and I know they come in tons of different boxes but ive never seen this one before, and it doesn't say xt or anything on the front. I just want to know if anyone has seen this box before and if its a radeon 9600 xt as advertised..

Looks genuine to me. Just wait until you get it, and see if there is a sticker or something on the box indicating the exact card model.

That package doesn't match the 9600XT package at Newegg or ATI. Looks kinda generic to me. Here's a Newegg link

Can't tell - there are many manufacturers that use the ATI models. It doesn't look like any of the mainstream Radeon 9600XTs, but will likely be much like a regular Radeon 9600 XT.

The thing that certainly makes me raise an eyebrow is the lack of a brand name plastered on the box.

Looks like it may be a generic box for all Radeon product. Look at the bottom, it says 64/128/256 so it is probably used for several different kinds of cards.

I recieved my graphics card today and on the side of the box it just has different radeon models and where it says radeon 9600 xt it is dashed in with a marker, but that doesnt tell me if its for certain that type of card, so is there anyway I can look at the card and know that its a 9600 xti believe the chipset is rv360 and it does say that on the video card so does that mean its a radeon 9600 xt?

Don't sweat it dude, I'm sure it's a 9600XT. Besides, when you install it you'll be able to know for sure because you'll see it as an ATI 9600XT in device manager and display properties and stuff.
