Monitor Problem: Samsung SyncMaster 793

Hopefully i'm posting in the right place. I have a Samnsung SyncMaster 793mb monitor that is about a week old, it was a floor model at Best Buy. My problem is that the colors are all messed up on it, it appears to have way to much green and no blue. Now the funny thing is, every now and then the monitor decides to convert into normal colors and it will stay that way for some time, then out of no where it reverts back to this shaded green look.

I know its not a problem with my comp, its this monitor.. Is there someone that could help me fix this monitor and keep the colors the way they are supposed to be!

Thanks to anyone to can help me!

Have you tried pressing the "Deguass" button in the monitor controls?

take it back as it is defective, and get a new one, you will have nothing but problems.

Sounds like it could also be a loose connection on the monitor cable.

I had a monitor that did the same. It was caused by defective wiring to the monitor and a defective pin.Basically your monitor is faulty .return it.

More than likely it is a faulty connection. Since you can't return it, you might try swapping out the video cord if it is removable.
