Has anyone used the Turtle Beach video capture card?

I'm getting ready to build a new PC for my uncle and he wants to be able to copy video from his analog camcorder to DVD with lite editing in a user friendly way. I'm waiting to choose all the components after I decide what method of video capture I'm going with. I'm looking at this Turtle Beach pci card.

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...123-101&depa=0

I like it because it has the front plate for a 5.25" bay that makes connections easy. Has anyone used this before?

Thanks

Looks like a nice option. Add Adobe Premiere Elements, and your Uncle is on his way.

Thanks for your input Dave. I'm thinking of going w/ an ASUS or Abit mb with onboard video for now and installing an AGP card later. Do you think that would be alright for video editing? I'll be using a 2.0 Ghz+ cpu (probably AMD) and at least 512mb DDR Ram (probably 1gb).

The video card would have nothing to do with video editing - AGP or on-board, all it's doing is displaying frames. Video editing is all about the CPU, memory and hard drive speed. The bigger and the faster, the better - especailly with analog video (capturing from an analog source).

Thanks Dave for the clarification. Reading some of the other posts, I thought that the amount of video ram was a consideration.
