monitor trouble

Well I recently finished my first build and have had pretty good luck. The only problem now is the monitor. The picture is fine, but the corners vibrate. Now this only occurs at the refresh rates in the 70's. There is little vibration at 85, but the screen is a bit blurry. It works best at 60, but that is painfully low. I figured with the hardware I have, it should be fine at higher rates. Not sure whether this is a monitor problem, video card problem or what.

Is the monitor a 19" Viewsonic G90f? Mine is set at 75 mhz refresh rate, and I have a Radeon 9600 card. I don't think it's your card though...

The optimal resolution/refresh rate for that monitor is 1600 x 1200 @ 77Hz
If you want the refresh rate higher you need to take it down to 1280 x 1024.
If you're having trouble at that either setting something outside is interfering (Any high intensity lamps near the monitor, is the cable in tight, how is it positioned on your desk?) or you need to call tech support at Viewsonic.
The bluriness you mention seems to be a recognized problem with the monitor : http://reviews-zdnet.com.com/Viewson...2.html?tag=top
