frame rate
I was wondering if any of you guys knows how to fix this problem. When I'm playing NFS2 Underground. The games plays great but every couple of minutes it the game play becomes choppy. Now I know it's not the video card because I have a ATI 256DDR Card. Would it have something to do with the refreash rate?

I need your computer specs (Like what ATI 256mb card?).
Also I need to know your monitor refresh rate and resolution.

Your specs fit the recommended and you've got plenty of ram.
Have you patched the game ( the patch was mostly about on-line play but it did fix some video bugs )? Also, unless you really cranked the resolution, turn down the in game video settings a notch. |

Also make sure you're not running anything in the backround that might snarf some CPU clocks every few minutes. I've had problems like that only to realize that I left Prime95 on...
