Radeon 9500Pro, or 9600XT Extreme Edition??

I'm about to buy a new vidcard. The options are 9500Pro, and 9600Xt extreme edition. I've seen many comparison between 9500Pro and 9600XT, And I think 9500Pro is a little better with much cheaper price. But how about 9600XT extreme edition? It's definitely better than ordinary 9600XT but can it beat the 9500Pro? 8 rendering pipelines vs 4? The only advantage of 9600XT extreme is the higher clock. But the price?? Almost twice the 9500Pro I guess...
Well, I'm asking for any opinions (based on experience, or technical aspects) from any of you. And I thank you so much for that

I too agree - Radeon 9500 Pro without a doubt. Great card - too bad it was discontinued. Just a quick note - 128-bit buswidth card with 8 rendering pixel pipelines. The 256-bit version is a Radeon 9700.
