new 17 lcd

brother wants me to order a lcd for his sons birthday , he is running a a7n266 asus with a nvida on board video, will this work with a lcd? looking at a polyview 17 from the egg

what does he use the LCD for? you may wanna look into the 710N by Samsung. it is 229 after rebates 20 instant and 50 mail in.

I have the Samsung 712n for my gaming system and it's a fine monitor - you may consider the Samsung 710N on sale at Newegg whether it'd be for general use or for gaming. Almost any monitor will work with any somewhat recent motherboard...you're fine with the Asus A7N266.
