cd burning software question / "sticky" question

hey guys

i was searching this forum for info about decent cd burning software (windows media player is SERIOUSLY confusing with its media library & playlists & my nero express install has started failing constantly lately), and someone mentioned a "sticky" in this forum that has freeware available within it.

dumb question -- what's a "sticky"? i saw a few of them listed at the top of the thread list, but don't know what they are. are they just articles or lists of links meant to stay in place at the top of the list for a while?

is the one i was looking for long gone because it was related to an old post?

thanks!

dj

You answered you own question, "are they just articles or lists of links meant to stay in place at the top of the list for a while?"

That's exactly what stickies are.

Not sure why you can't find the old one unless it was moved or deleted. That isn't done unless it violates a rule though.
