Bad Audio Sound

About 2 months ago i build my system and im using the built in audio on my mobo (A8V-Deluxe) and i get horrible audio sound when playing music, its extremely sketchy and the sound comes out broken up. Is there anything i can do to fix this. If i have to buy a new card i was wondering if i could get suggestions for a good card for gaming and music.

thanks

They should be on the Asus CD -- when the autorun application comes up, they should be one of the items on the Drivers page. If they don't get installed, performance can suffer.
