.wmv editor?
Are there any .wmv editors out there for Win2k? I was quite upset to realize some documentaries I recorded ended up saving in .wmv format instead of as .avi's as I had intended. I would still really love to cut some chunks out of these though could anyone help me out with suggestions?

Some people have had luck downloading and installing Windows Movie Maker from XP onto Win2k. It would be easiest.
There's also MS's WMV encoder (free) that might do it. It may be easier to just encode them to avi or mpg in something like tmpgenc or virtualdubmod. |

Ended up transfering them over to an XP machine and using movie maker on there. Success though
