Dual Monitor Setup
Alright, I just got a bunch of old computers a friend wasn't using. One of em had an Old Radeon 64 MB Grahics card, so I decided to put it in my main system and hook up an old monitor to it.
The problem is, the old monitor can only stay at 800 x 600 resolution and 16 bit colors. This makes the monitor extremely blury (at 1024 x 768 with 32 bit color, the bluryness isn't so bad). I have the old monitor hooked up to my onboard graphics card where my new monitor had the choice of 1024x768 (and higher) with 32 bit color. Why doesn't this monitor have that choice? I've tried re-installing both graphic adapters, but to no avail. I have used this old monitor on this computer before and it worked fine. |

Did windows recognize and install the drivers for the second card? I am not quite sure how drivers work if you have dual cards..but one driver may not cut it if the cards are different models/companies

Yes, drivers have been installed and re-installed for both of them.

The old monitor is on my onboard graphics (where it had higher resolution before). The new monitor is on the old graphics card with 32 bit and 1024x768.
