new video card

I'm getting a new video card, I think this will be the one

Leadtek A6600 GT TDH Geforce 6600GT 128MB 128-bit GDDR3 AGP 4X/8X Video Card - Retail $179

http://www2.newegg.com/Product/Produ...82E16814122206

I cant spend any more then that, in fact its already more then I want to spend
just wanted to make sure there wasnt something I missed, anyone see a better card for same price or cheaper? Or a card that is same performance or close to it for cheaper? I'm not a big OC guy so I will be running this card at stock speeds. This card is not really an upgrade, I have a 2nd pc I need a video card for, my 1st pc has a radeon 9800pro in it, if I get the above card I should move the 9800pro to my 2nd pc right, from what I've seen at tomshardware site the 6600GT is better performance then the 9800pro

also I only have a 350WATT antec power supply, will that be ok for running the above card? It ran my 9800pro just fine, just making sure

I think the 6600 GT is the best bang for the buck. From the benchmarks Ive seen the 6600 GT performs better than a 9800XT. Yes the 350w Antec should work just fine for that card also.

You will see marginal improvement from the 9800 Pro to the 6600 GT. Benchmarks don't play video games, people do The 9800 Pro goes for 140 - 150 bucks OEM right now. For the price the 6600 GT is a good card, but you will not see a huge improvement. Now if you just need an additional video card for your second computer I would choose between the 6600 GT and 9800 Pro depending on what type of video games you play and what type of other applications you run.

$30 rebate on eVGA's retail card, bringing it down to $160

Should be well within your budget
