dead pixels only with Media player?
i noticed something last night when i tried to watch a video on my PC...
black dots appear on the screen, when i move the media player around, the block dots stay still, but they leave trails of black lines whenever i move the media player, when i let go of the media player. the lines disappear. but the dots remain.. these dots are about 1 pixel... are next to each other by pairs. vertically. and are lined up seperately from the other pairs, going diagnolly, about 2 inches apart. kind of like... stairs i noticed, if i load a video on MplayerA, and load another video on MplayerB, those dots dont appear again on MplayerB. i have tried loading different kinds of files, even when i tried to load a video on Winamps media player, these "dead pixels" show up.. i uninstalled all the codecs in my PC, and deleted all the residue codec files that i could find, and it still does this. what can i do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyone ever hear of such problems? or experience yourself? system: Windows XP SP1 P4 3.0GHz HT(disabled) ATI X800XL 1GB DDR2 RAM plllease help meee. its drivine me insane... OH YEA! when i put my mouse cursor over it, the pixels dont show up... also when i do screen capture, the pixels are not visible in the screen shot... ONLY on media player...
