screwy display
I was in a customers office yesterday and they had a new HP Pavillion 220n. The monitor was showing a serpintine display. The operator told me it did that when it had been on too long. I wasnt there for that problem but I counld help but try. I restarted the machine in safe mode and it straighten right up. Then I restarted in normal mode and it was OK. I surfed a little to find out it was an Athalon processor and on board graphics.
Then they told me that they had an extended warranty on it and they had called Best Buy about it and maybe I shuld go down the hall and fix what I had come for. Harummph! This was more fun, thats why. Anyway, without more info, I would had tried a new vid driver from HP or replaced the MB, What do you think?
