Help needed regarding graphic card for old pc
Hi
I am in some serious need for help as to wich graphic card i should get for my 3 year old pc.(i know waay old )My pc is a fujitsu fmw deskpower ce11a, AMD duron 1100Mhz, 512 MB ram and a measly 205 watt power supply. My monitor does not support DVI instead it has a DFP port, but i guess that i can buy an adapter to get around that problem? My bus is a PCI bus, wich sort of makes the selection of cards fairly small. I have searched the net quite a lot but i am still not sure what card to get. I am not a hardcore gamer, but i would like to be able to play games that are newer than 3 years Any help and advise will be greatly appriciated. |

An FX5200 would probably suit that quite well, and maybe take some of the strain off the rest of the system with all of it's hardware features.
Just my thoughts

A Radeon 9200/9250 should work well too. The big concern is the 205 watt PSU, it may not be able to handle the load of a video card - I assume it's using onboard video now?
