$150 Video card, suggestions?
I am looking for a video card for around $150, and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I don't care if it is Nvidia or ATI, just something taht will run well. The two that I found are:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...20#DetailSpecs and http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150080 I am leaning heavily toward the Evga, because from what I can find it is a better brand than XFX. If anyone has any suggestions either way please share them. Thanks! |

XFX & Sapphire are not as good as MSI & BFG in my opinion...and PC World's video card review seems to think about the same. The review is on PCI-E cards but it shows who is putting out high quality cards right now
I like this one The BFG is way out of your price range but it's a great card that comes a bit overclocked right out of the box. I would go for the MSI if you don't want to reach deeper for the BFG. Last edited by 12twelve12; 06-16-2005 at 07:57 PM. |

Go with the eVGA - it's closest to the nVIDIA reference card design and generally tends to be the least expensive. Sure, you can go BFG or XFX to get more performance, but for the price difference you pay, it's hard to justify the small performance boost. Again, I'm for eVGA here.

I recommend the eVGA as well. I am seriously considering getting that card myself.
