system locks when dragging window
This is a new XP install. I updated the video drivers. Whenever I drag a window across the 2 monitors, the system freezes. I thought I remember something about this and RAM settings in BIOS ??? n any help is appreciated

It maybe because you have very old video cards that don't support dual monitor situations, or they don't support dual monitors in XP.

This is a reinstall of xp on this system on one hd as one of the hd in the raid0 array died. This setup has worked fine for over a year as in my signature.
I downloaded the latest nvidia drivers and ran the downlaod. It says that they installed, but when I go into device manager and look at the driver details, it says that the date is still 2001. How do I know if the latest drivers are installed other than running .exe from nvidia? |

your best bet is to uninstall the old drivers, reboot the machine, then install the new ones
