what's the best way to setup monitor?
Hi:
I have just build a pc for friends, and the display is: "default monitor on Radeon 9800 Pro." I don't know what kind of monitor they have, but what I want to know is do you go to the web site of the manufacturer and download drivers for that monitor or leave it at default monitor? What's best? I looked at the sticky's and tried a link to ATI drivers but it didn't work. Thanks for any replys. |

just leave it as default, i personally hate installing software that comes with peripherals unless you absolutely have to, the only reason for installing drivers for a monitor is if the monitor has some extras on it like some of the LG monitors have usb hubs built in
