6800GT (agp)

Im trying to help a friend fix her video card. She plays Medal of Honor Spearhead and used to get 300+ fps, but all of a sudden she said she is getting 20-50 fps, and even lagging out sometimes. She just reformatted, and has installed all of her drivers, and still nothing works. She said she cleaned the dust off of it the other day aswell. I know she has an Asus motherboard but Im not sure about the CPU, or anything else. Got any idea's to what the problem may be?

Thanks.

I would recommend checking the Asus site for Chipset drivers rather than from any other source.

Does the 6600 have a fan? If so, check it to ensure it is working

its a 6800GT, and yes it does have a fan.

EDIT: WE seemed to have fixed it, or so she say's. It was the motherboard drivers.
