Which Is Better?

What mobo will you be using the card with? Respectably they are both really good cards, but if you have an SLI mobo and then go with the 6800gt so later you could get another and use SLI.
EDIT : If you want to connect two DIV monitors also, then you need the 6800gt.

The 6800 GT performs better in the majority of tests.

Although I am an nVidia gamer, I'm also a video capture guy so I would go with the AIW if you intend to use the VIVO features of the ATI card.
I think the 6800GT will outperform the X800Pro Good Luck,

No need to bump just because a few hours have gone by the dot... both will perform creditably, I'd get the 6800GT. As to your question about single or double, both will obviously be better in a dual setup, but the 6800 GT is more than sufficient by itself for the time being
