Unsynchronized Sound.

Okay, I got a friend who came to me with a problem with unsynchronized sound while watching a video on VCL player. I am not familiar with the player and online i tried to talk him through how to fix the problem the way I fix it in ASUS dvd, but there aren't similar options.

Does anyone have a clue on how to fix this, he says it is about 2 seconds behind?

We tried changing the 'desynchronization compensation' as he called it, but even when he put it really high he couldn't tell if there was an improvment. He isnt very computer literate and is on a retail pc, so he doesnt know what the indivual parts are.

TIA,

Just wanting to see if anyone has any idea on how to synchronize sound and video on VCL player. I dont want to be 'bumping' but this has been 9 days, sorry, but he still says there is an apparent and noticible delay in audio and video on the movies he watches.

thanks again,

Bumping after 9 days is fine...
Perhaps suggest to him using a different player, as I've never heard of VCL and can't really comment on if it's any good. Additionally, if he want to know his computer specs, tell him to use Everest Home Edition to find them out, and then you can post them back to us
