Exclamation Bfg 7800 Gt Not Working Plz Help!!!

I just bought a brand new BFG 7800 GT. When I got it one of the capacitors was broken off, and laying in the box. BFG won't cover it because I bought it off of eBay and the seller doesn't have a reciept. It works with very low porformance, but is it possible to just solder the capacitor back on. If it can be done will it work correctly after that or still have problems?
Thanks,
Preston

I would think you could very very carefully solder it back...Otherwise I would contact eBay and tell them that you were sold a defective product.

Ebay has a 'disputes' procedure that aims to help when you receive defective goods, this might be the time to pursue it. Check under the ebay help area.

Quick question, did you take out postal insurance on the card? If you did, then you may be able to look into claiming due to damage in transit. I'm not sure how the USPS works, however.

Do you have a copy of the seller's ad on eBay? If he claims it works and isn't broken etc, then if you go to the disputes thing, he will have to refund it.

Yup, have a look at the picture, but first look into postal insurance.
