Presuming your running XP, Right click on 'My Computer' and select the hardware tab. Click on 'Device Manager'. Find your card and double click it. What is the 'Device Status'?

You'll have to install the drivers that came with it (it should've came with it on a CD, if not you'll have to download it from the card's website)

You can download the driver from Dell's website. Go to support.dell.com, choose home user, enter your service tag number, and you will be able to download any driver that this laptop needs.
