Multi computers using a single speaker system
Hi All,
I have six computers at my store. I want all the computers share the same speaker system because i try to set a greeting on each computer so whoever see the customer first, he will play the greeting on his computer through the shared speaker system. Is it posible to connect them that way? Do i need any speaker hub? Anyone has any idea ? Please help. thank you very much, all. |

Only thing I can think of is some kind of wireless setup with each computer having an wireless audio transmitter and the speakers with the reciever. Not sure if there is such a thing.

try electrical/electronics supplis shop (radioshack?) they have systems that allow you to switch speaker inputs, just short out the switch so the signal goes from all inputs (PC's) to the output (speaker).
You could have a problem with the pc's recieving a input signal from their output though, so might need to put a filter (some sort of diode would do). |
