Good 20"+ LCD monitor for graphics work
A graphic designer I support is looking to replace an old CRT monitor with a new 20"+ diagonal LCD monitor. In the off chance that any suggestions I have will be listened to by the people who make these decisions, what are some good monitors in that size range that work well for graphics design?

Dells seem to be quite popular these days and can be found at very attractive prices. I believe that they are made by Samsung. My personal favorite LCD for non-gaming use is the Xerox XD-91 because of the glass front, but it's only 19". It's made for Xerox by Proview and only available from Best Buy and Circuit City online - and maybe Costco.

A little price but Apple LCD monitors would be great for graphics work. I have a Apple HD Cinema (23" flat Panel) and I like it a lot, cost me an arm & leg but to me it was worth it.

I just picked up the Dell 2005fpw on sale for $400 and its great. 20.1" widescreen, use it for widescreen gaming and movies. It supports a native resolution of 1680x1050 which is about 30% more screen space than a 19" lcd i believe. Couldnt be happier, check out this link:
