Exclamation Accidently set resolution to one screen can't display! ANSWER QUICK!

I think i just did something really stupid . i was playing around with my resolution and I came to one that my screen doesn't support. I have my mouse cursor to automatically go to a button on an alert. When the screen went black, i think i accidently said to keep the resolution, i.e. the mouse was on the button saying "Yes keep this resolution" and i accidently clicked. So this means that I can't view anything on the screen becuase its on a resolution my screen can't display. What do I do? I can't see anything!!! I don't know if i should restart or what... What is the command for system restore in run? Wil this edit the files i editted today? How do i get into run? thanks answer quick. Sorry for the annoying name, but i need this quickly

reboot into "safe mode" and then reset resolution. Usually get into safe by hitting f8 while computer boots ,before windows loads.
