Geforce 5900 Ultra TV out /SCART problem

Hello there, I have a n00bie question you may be able to help with

I have connected TV out via SCART adapter to the TV but nvidia's software does not detect second display. Drivers are up to date.
Simply when I tick this optionfor dual or clone display and hit detect displays nothing happens.
I connected the same scart adapter to Latitude D610 Laptop and here it works, well, kind of, in B&W only, what is wrong? Any ideas?

One more thing, both video outputs have 9 pins and the SCART adapter has 4pin connector but it fits into 9 pin socket and I was told this is fine.
