Question Nvidia Graphics Card

I've got a BFG Nvidia GeForce FX 5500 OC 256MB video card. I've Installed and done everything right so far, but I get the Blue Screen Of Death saying PFN_LIST_CORRUPT. Right now, I switched to my Onboard VGA instead of my video card so I can write in here. Anyone got any ideas?

Can you list the full system specs?

Also does Windows boot at all? Can you run in safe mode? Did you disable onboard video after installing the video card?

1) ASUS P4S533-MX Motherboard
2) Intel P4 2.40GHz
3) PC2100 Kingston ValueRam 1GB 266MHz(512x2)
4) PowMax 400W Power Supply
5) Predator Sound Card(5.1)
6) Maxtor 60GB Hard Drive
7) Last but not least, my GeForce FX 5500 OC 256MB

That should be enough to give you an idea what's up in my system(I Hope)...

OK, good, but did you disable it in BIOS? Not sure if that will solve the error, but onboard video needs to be disabled in BIOS anyways. There could be a conflict between the two.

Yeah, I've disabled onboard VGA in my BIOS as well. Cache and all that too.

Also, Windows does start up to a point. Then before I could get to the part where I put in my password and all, I get the blue screen of death.

And you are sure all the old drivers are uninstalled? Kinda sounds like an old driver is stuck and it's trying to find onboard video.

I don't know what other drivers there are. I've looked high and low. AGP driver, display drivers. Dunno if IDE drivers effect my video card.

I would almost say try to install the new drivers in Safe mode, but that could mess things up even worse.
