How are the 5200's connected to the sound card? How do the T7700 connect? If they both use the front out, rear out, and center out, it proably won't work unless you get some splitters.

You need splitters. There wouldn't be any degration in sound quality.

Normally I provide links but I was in a hurry.

RadioShack seems to be pushing only overpriced MonsterCable crap now. Their house brand cables have dissapeared from their website. That's what I used to link to.

You need something like THIS, though I wouldn't go for the Monster brand. They are way overpriced. Check your local RadioShack or electronics shop.

AHA....thx m8...um...u SURE their will be no loss of qauility? also I will need to buy 5 of these . what you think of this setup im gonna do...

My PC is going to be 10M away from my 40` LCD screen around this screen are gonna be my 5.1 speakers , I will use it to play racing games...watch DVD movies and TV, will this setup work? or will the cables be too long for the sound to travel?....doesent the sound quility diminish if the cables are like over 5metres? the furthest the speakers will be from my PC is about 10 metres.

thx

You need to use good quality cables. My theater system is about 40 feet away from my PC. I used RG-6 coaxial cable, which you can buy in bulk at RadioShack, along with adapters like THIS. It works great for digital and analog signals.

That would probably work great. I did not know that existed. It must be something new. It uses DTS Interactive (same as Dolby Digital Live).

Still, it would be nice if Creative would include those things in their cards.

You have to watch it. I tried hooking my TV/VCR and my DVD player to the Stereo RCA input of a receiver. Had little output when watching movies. Not until I unplugged the cable from the TV/VCR.
What I had was a RCA Y-Adapter on both R/L input. Headphone jack to RCA adapter from TV/VCR. And a RCA cable from the DVD.
