Hey, I'm looking to upgrade my (very) old nVidia TNT2 Pro to something with a little more punch. While I'm not a huge gamer, I do like to play them from time to time (I now have my eye on Rome: Total War, Swat 4, Splinter Cell 3). Idealy I'm looking for a cheap card that will provide stable performance from these and other future games. My budget is very tight, so you know. I was looking at this one:
Amigo Radeon 9550 128Mb 128-bit (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814166004) There card has a 20$ rebate, bringing it down $42. Is this card adequate for my needs? Also, is 512 Mb sufficient to support these games? Thanks in advance

One of the problems you may run into is whether or not the system will suport the Radeon 9550 you listed. The TNT2 Pro is very old - it was made before AGP8x, which is what the Radeon 9550 fits into. Do you have a pre-built system? As well, can you list your full sys specs?
