Speakers not detected... No volume control!?
Yeah well i ended up whiping out my hard drive due to the massive amounts of spyware on it. After that, i installed the necessary programs and everything is running find, the only problem is that my speakers dont work... and i cannot figure out why. Also, the Volume Control that is typically accessable from the Start Menu, is not there....
I tried looking for the detection of them from the Control Panel, but still, nothing is there... and they are plugged into an outlet for power, and also into the CPU. Any ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated Specs are in the sig if needed Thanks again, Jason

If you are using onboard sound, you need to install the sound drivers on the motherboard CD.
