Laptop Screen Black
I was given a Sony Viao, probably 2-3 years old. When I go to turn it on I can hear the HD and the fans however the screen remains black. I have messed with the visual output and it is not that. The screen is BLACK! No backlight nothing, just black. The computer will start (well as far as I can hear :P) plugged in or just running off of a battery. ANy ideas?

Tried it, nothing. The monitor is black. (Yes I messed with the output buttons)
My friend suggested turning it on and shining light on the screen. I think I can make out some edges but that might just be because tahts what I want :P. The computer is teh PCG-GRX500P BTW. Last edited by mfreddo; 01-04-2006 at 10:59 PM. |
