Can't get audio but can get video out of InterActual

Problem

Can play CD's and DVD's with audio and video using Windows Media but can't get audio out of InterActual player when playing DVD's. This pc has integrated audio.

My friend (owner) said the audio was lost close to the time when he removed RealPlayer from PC.

This is a 3 yr. old Compaq. InterActual apparently came bundled with PC. I thought about removing and reinstalling InterActual but since it's a Compaq with restore CD's I wanted to post first.

Any suggestions?

Maybe all you need is some codecs.

Try the K-Lite Codec Pack (Basic).
