I just bought a brand new video card from Newegg.
NVIDIA EVGA 7800GT. I've run it on the Mike demo that nvidia created and it lags horribly on it. It moves by the frames and im suspecting its going at 9 fps. Utterly horrible. Wasn't that demo made for the 7series? Also my evga 7800GT is overclocked retail 570, 1100. What is going on?! Is it because I recieved a faulty video card?? Could some please explain or give me options on what to do... thanks. |

Did you install all the necessary firmware and update the drivers?

Yes, I have the most updated NVIDIA unified drivers.
And I'm using an ABIT AN8 ULTRA. It detects the Nvidia video card, and everything detects.. would it maybe be my bios that needs updating, would that increase the performance? Please someone help. |
