Will one driver work for both CRT and LCD?
I have a VGA Video Splitter/Extender. The input of the splitter is hooked up to the output of the video card. The splitter has two outputs, one for the monitor that's used for the computer and the other monitor is 75 feet away.
Both monitors are 17-inch CRTs. I want to buy a 17-inch LCD to replace one of the CRTs. Before I invest in a LCD, I'm trying to find out if it will work. I'm concerned that the video driver for the CRT will not work for both the CRT and the LCD monitor. Does anybody know if this will work? Thanks! |

It should work OK. If a CRT works then an LCD should work also.

As long as you use a resolution and refresh rate that's compatible with both monitors, it will work.
