I can't find a good sound card. I'm going to be mainly gaming, so it should be pretty good. Any ideas?
Thanks in return.

If your budget can provide, the Creative X-Fi is truly a marvlous line for almost anything.

I also recommend an X-Fi card. The X-Fi XtremeMusic is the cheapest of the X-Fi cards. Don't let the "music" in the title confuse you. It is also excellent for games.

The X-FI that Hi Ho recommended is $115... There are some Audigy 2ZS's in that range if the X-Fi is a bit over budget.

An Audigy 2 might work. I have 5 speakers and 1 subwoofer. I don't know what that means, that is, wether it's 5.1 channel sound (I think it is, right). I'm not very familiar with sound cards, so I'll take your advice and look for an Audigy 2.

But that card only supports 7.1 channel audio right? I have 5.1? I'm a n00b so, no doubt I'm confused.

The card supports up to 7.1. It will support anything from 2 channel stereo to 7.1. You will have no problems connecting your speakers. The Audigy 2 ZS is a very nice card.
