Video Options on NeroVision Express 3

I hope this is the right place to post...

Okay, I'm new to this DVD burning thing. Under "Video Options," there are few thins I'm wondering about. I already tried the help function and the manual, but neither go into detail. If they do, then I can't find the section where they do.

What's "sample format?" Under audio format, there's a selection called LCPM. What the heck is that?

EDOT: ALmost forgot. When I finish burning a DVD and play it in places besides my computer, parts of the sides are cut off. It couldn't be more than an inch, but for things like fan subbed Japanese animes, it cuts off decent amounts of subtitles. What's up with this? I've tested it on three TVs. Same result each time. It plays just fine on my computer monitor though.
