need to replace vid card?
my cousin com is suddenly giving graphic distortions. and when it does only a couple minutes later the com shuts down. then he reboots the come and gets nothing on screen and alot of beeping noises. i know hes using a intergrated vid card on the mobo. his specs are
2.4 ghz northwood 256 rams the intergrated vid card i dunt no but its nvidia now with the little evidence i gave u. u think the card on the mobo fried and is in need of a agp card? |

I think that the PSU is broken, and your cousing will need to replace it.

Can you elaborate on the specs a bit more? What is the brand/make of the PSU? Was the system built by a brand-name manufacturer or was it a self-built system?

im betting he has a no named brand psu. his integrated card a geforce 440mx i think. or smthin close to it

I've never seen a Socket 478 motherboard with a Nvidia chipset.
