Will DDR2 video card work with DDR Mobo?

I need to add a budget PCIe video card to my existing mobo. If the mobo I have uses DDR system memory, do I have to find a video card that uses DDR on-board also, or will DDR2 also work. The card I am looking at is the ASUS EN6200TC and is here:

The Mobo I have is the ASUS P5RD1-V, a refurbished version can be seen here:

The system is used for mild gaming (SIMS 2).

The video card's RAM does not have to be the same type as the main RAM. You'll be ok with that card.

I would recommend you get something other than a Turbocache or Hypermemory card. That card really isn't any better than the onboard video you already have, it shares system ram the same way. Keep using the onboard till you can afford a $125 card such as a 6600GT.

OK thanks. Do you have a suggestion? I'm not very strong on video cards. The actual video perfomance I was getting with the on-board video I had was fine. It's just that it no longer works. This thread is a follow-on question to the thread I have on the motherboard page talking about the on-board video failing for the 2nd time. Sorry to ask for video recomenndations in a different place, it just seemed a different topic from the question I was orginally asking there.

Ahh, okay - go back to your original thread. I've suggested 2 cards under $75.
