I have an odd issue with Windows Media Player 10. It seems to play audio and video files fine with the following exception. It will not play audio on home made DVD's. DVD's of home movies created with Premiere Pro, Pinnicle Studio 9, and a similar SONY program do not play fully on WMP 10. I get video but no audio. All of these DVD's play normally (video and sound) on regular DVD players attached to a TV.
The Audio is identified as MPEG-1 by DVD Shrink. By the way, regular store bought movie DVDs play without a problem and I get both audio and video. What's up? Am I missing a codec? |

Try using VLC. I've seen some strange things with DVDs and WMP9 and 10.
