Network Video Cameras Question

I work for a recreational complex, and my boss wants to see if we can set up a camera system so basically people can go to our website, and see updated footage or pictures of how many people are here, etc.

So I'm looking at different set ups for network cameras and such, and am looking for any advice anyone can give me.

first of all, would this work well with wireless cameras? do you have a specific model or brand of camera your recomend? Any info on the whole idea owuld be great.
