A little CRT help
Lately my older CRT monitor takes a very long time to show a picture on the screen when i turn it on. The green light goes on to show that a signal is going through but the picture takes forever to come even when you move the computer's mouse around. I doubt its my computer because it does not happen in my other monitor neither does it happen in my lcd monitor. Is my crt going bad?
I got a SAMSUNG SyncMaster750s. A common monitor. Thanks |

yes, from what your discribing , it sounds like the emissions from the filiments are getting very weak, and that would cause a very slow display on the screen to be visible, it could also be a poor connection on the connector on the rear of the crt causing a lower voltage getting to the filiment, but most likely it just growning weak.
as long as you tested it with another monitor, that kinda proves it. |
