Microphone Problem
I'm running Microsoft XP Media Center.
My problem is that whenever i plug a mic or anything into the mic input it will play through the speakers and it seems not to be processed by the computer. The mic plays through the computer constantly and doesn't turn off. What I want to do is plug my guitar into the computer and have it go through a guitar amp program that I have. The problem is that I hear the clean "unprocessed" sound as well as the amp sound. Is there anyway to make it so I only hear the amp sound? If someone could answer my question that would be fantasic. Thanks. |

Check in the audio control panel and see if there is an option for a PA mode or a pass through option for mic input.

Select control Panel from the start menu/check under Sounds and audio Devices/also look for any other audeo players that may be installed like SoundMax/Creative Labs/etc.
