Hi folks, I just recently noticed that I can no longer change the Default Recorder in Creator Classic, as a matter of fact when I click on Tools the Drive Properties is grayed out. I can play dvd's and cd's but I'm not able to burn within Creator Classic. I installed Nero 7 the demo just to see if I could burn and I had no problem doing so. I really like Roxio and would like to continue using it. I have updated firmware uninstalled/reinstalled software and still no go. Does anyone have any idea as to what could have gone wrong and how I can correct this.

Did you set a restore point before you installed the Nero demo first time around?

Are you using the same drive that Classic shipped with, or have you changed the drive?

Update: I have fixed the problem . I remembered that I had d/l'd Roxio CDR4.exe Update Utility sometime back. I downloaded the latest driver from there, rebooted and Voila!! I now have the Default Recorder back along with the Driver Properties in the Tools Menu. Thanks so much for your help.
