I had that happen to me with iTunes before with another program back when I first got my iPod. But I hated the program so much and uninstalled it. I think it's just because iTunes is such a resource hog that it can't be running with another demanding program.

im pretty sure its not a resource problem as ive run itunes with other much more demanding (or mutiple) programs than guild wars.

Open the task manager and check to see what the CPU usage is for Itunes when it's playing. If it's anywhere near 100% then Itunes is hogging your resources. I suspect this is the case.

Similar issue
I got my iPod back in Oct. and I have had the same problem.
I am working on a new computer but haven't gotten one yet. It may be your rig. I have searched for a solution but haven't found one yet so instead I use a headphone wire and plug my headphones into the line in port, but then you have no sound from the computer. |
