Two Video Cards Running Dual Monitors

As the title says I am running dual monitors, i was messing around with Winamp Visualizations when a question came to me. When you are running the visualizations and say you drag the visualization window from one screen to the other which video card renders the graphics?( I call it rendering, im not sure thats what the correct term for it is, someone correct me if im wrong.) I know when you run most games you can choose which card to use for the rendering , or it will use the primary adapter, and will display it on the one screen only. Sorry for the dumb question, but i was just curious. thanks guys.

Whatever card the monitor is connected to renders the graphics on that monitor.
