Fuzzy icons

I had recently tried to update the drivers for my GeForce 6800 XT graphics card. After it was all said and done, I noticed my desktop was now fuzzy everytime I restarted my computer. The only way to rid myself of it was to constantly hit the auto mode on my monitor. Since this annoyed me greatly, I tried to replace those drivers with the original that were supplied on the cd.
But the fuzziness remains. I even ran the driver cleanup proggy that was mentioned in one of my earlier threads concerning my monitor, but that also didn't help.
Any ideas?

I dont see a monitor in your sig. It is an lcd? If it is you may not have the native resolution for that monitor selected. HTH
