newbie tv tuner install question

Hello All:

I'm about to build my first pc and am completely clueless as to how to hook up a tuner card. I'm only interested in watching tv and listening to the radio-don't care about recording. I'm looking to just use an antennae similar to my old win 98 set-up. I'm looking at the Asus card and have ordered a mobo with integral sound and a decent video card.

Basically my 2 questions are this:

can these tuners be used without a separate sound card?

and

is one of these tuner cards and a separate video card duplicative-can they be used together?

thanks for looking and my apologies if this has been covered before (couldn't find anything with search)

1. Yes, as long as you do have onboard sound.
2. You can use either a separate video card and tuner card, or a combo card such as an ATI All-in-Wonder.
