16 colours!!
16 colour display settings ? when i try to run software i receive message (256) display in order for software to work properly! 16 colurs is the max settings at the moment..
Is it a PCI graphics/video card all i need to upgrade to? Current specs: Motherboard - MSi 6183 OS - Win 98 |

You need to install the proper drivers for the graphics adapter you have now.

It looks like the board has an integrated video and an AGP slot, it also looks like the integrated must be enabled/disabled in the bios. Quote:

It sounds like you lost the proper drivers for the video thats in there now, and they may just need to be reinstalled, although if you are in the market for it, an upgrade won't hurt either. Win98 was kind of famous for loosing drivers at times.

I went in to BIOS>ADVANCED CHIPSET.. and couldnt find the "ON-CHIP VIDEO" setting ?
